Business review Hans Følsgaard offers high-tech products and solutions to customers primarily in the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors and is driven by creating in-design solutions and tailoring products solving the customers’ need with a TCO-sustainability approach. Financial review The income statement for 2023/24 shows a profit of DKK 27,970 thousand against a profit of DKK 58,553 thousand last year, and the balance sheet at 31 March 2024 shows equity of DKK 157,141 thousand. The profit for the year is negatively affected by 25 mio.kr. regarding a non-ordinary cost. The amount is included in production costs / cost of sales. Management considers the Company's financial performance in the year satisfactory. Financial risks and use of financial instruments The Group supplies high- quality advice which is a core element of the overall service. Future earnings are therefore highly dependent on the Company’s knowledge resources. These knowledge resources comprise primarily highly skilled employees and related professional business partners. The Company has prepared internal policies to ensure that the employees’ competencies in the relevant areas are continuously maintained and developed. Research and development activities I connection with the desire to create added value for the customers, the company continuously develops and adapts products in a close cooperation with both suppliers and customers. To support this, the company has established an Innovation Lab, which makes knowledge and skills available to the customers, who are also invited to collaborate with the Innovation Lab to find simple and effective solutions. Events after the balance sheet date No events materially affecting the Company's financial position have occurred subsequent to the financial year-end. Outlook Customer activity for the coming year is expected to be at the same level as in 2023/24. Despite some uncertainty in the economic situation, the outlook for the coming year is favourable given our strong strategic positions and our focus on the green shift. The company continues to focus on building new markets and product areas, and it is expected that the operating profit for 2024/25 will be in a range of DKK 50-70 million.
